Girls from Ngata and Ogilgei Secondary schools in Rongai sub-county, Nakuru County, have a reason to smile after the Raising Daisies organization donated sanitary pads to them yesterday.
Speaking during the function, the organization’s Lead Coordinator Sarah Bomett highlighted that their purpose was to enable girls in the sub-county to continue with their studies even during their menses.
Bomett regretted that many girls had dropped out of school due to lack of sanitary towels cutting short their dreams.
“We are assisting school girls with sanitary towels to enable them to continue with their studies without challenges,” she said.

The Coordinator urged girls in the area to respect and assist their parents during the holiday period and also to take time to study.
