As the Kenya Junior Secondary School Assessment Examinations (KPSEA) candidates complete their tests to pave way for the continuation of KCSE, rogue adults have been cautioned against luring innocent school leavers into sex.

Kisii’s Bassi Central Location Chief Jane Yogesh said some rogue adults especially bodaboda operators take the advantage of excited school leavers after the examinations and lure them with money and free rides into sexual orgies.

“I know not all bodaboda riders are bad but there are a few rotten potatoes among good ones that we will not allow to spoil our children.” She said.

She instructed parents whose children are doing the examinations as day scholars to provide them with enough, security and parental love assurances as they transit to the next level of education and stage of life.

She also asked bodaboda riders to minimize noise around learning institutions in order to enable the candidate to operate in a conducive atmosphere.

The Chief revealed that she had position her Nyumba Kumi groups along village paths and bodaboda stages to monitor any wayward learners and report them to their parents and the police for structured correction.

The Chief asked parents to provide enough warm clothes to their children to cushion them from the cold especially the ongoing rain in the Country.
