Ivy Chelimo, the creator of the viral ‘Riggy G’ nickname for Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has finally bagged her Law degree. Ivy is now a law graduate from Catholic University of Eastern African (CUEA) according to her social media where she shared the news.
Her followers lauded her for the achievement. Contrary to what she pursued in campus, Ivy revealed she got a job in the office of the Deputy President as part of the communication team.
Speaking on how the job offer unfolded, she said that during a meeting, Mr. Gachagua asked her whether she was interested to join his communication team.
“With no doubts and hesitation, I said yes and accepted the job. I needed a job because I had just finished University and I needed something to pay my bills at the end of the day,” she said.
The internet sensation disclosed that the meeting was orchestrated by his sons who reached out to her.
“It started when he said he wanted his sons to look for me. His sons reached out, planned a meeting, I promptly met him, and we had a hearty conversation,” Ivy said.
Ivy noted that come 2027, she might be on the ballot as a Member of Parliament or Senator.
“I will go for MP or senator but I am not sure, it is however subject to confirmation in 2027,” she reported.
