Principal Secretary for Aviation and Aerospace Development Teresia Mbaika has said the government remains committed to improving education across the country as part of its development agenda.
Speaking in Kilome Constituency during a women empowerment initiative, Mbaika noted that the President is committed to improving education, healthcare and infrastructure, among many other development agendas.
“Our President William Ruto is committed to making sure that development reaches every part of the country regardless of the region or community, with education, health and infrastructure being among his top priorities,” Mbaika said.
Women urged to make informed choices
At the same time, she called upon women to take a strong stand on who they vote for since they are the ones who carry the weight of their families more than anyone else, adding that a good choice will help create a favourable economy, thus enabling them to cater for basic family needs such as paying school fees and providing shelter, among others.
She called upon parents to bring up girls in the right manner by being their role models and encouraging them to become the best version of themselves at all times.

The meeting was attended by Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse, Special Economic Zones Authority Chairman Fred Muteti, among other leaders.
