In a milestone event for education in Bomet County, 14 newly renovated classrooms at Kenyagoro Primary School in Konoin constituency were officially commissioned today.

The ceremony was graciously hosted by Konoin MP Brighton Yegon and attended by education stakeholders, community members, and officials.

The renovation project, collaboration between the National Government and local leadership, is set to transform the learning environment for hundreds of pupils.

Speaking at the event, Basic Education PS Prof. Julius Bitok highlighted the importance of investing in quality learning infrastructure.

“Education remains the strongest foundation for sustainable development. Projects like this ensure our children have safe and conducive spaces to learn, grow, and succeed,” he said.

On his part, Konoin MP Brighton Yegon expressed pride in the completed project, emphasizing its long-term impact on the community.

“The renovated classrooms will improve learning facilities and provide a better environment for our children. This is a step forward in building a brighter future for the next generation,” he remarked.

The newly upgraded classrooms feature modern designs, enhanced lighting and ventilation and durable furniture, ensuring a comfortable and stimulating learning atmosphere.
