Tension has erupted in Sotik, Bomet County, as students and parents of Sotik Comprehensive School take to the streets to protest the transfer of their headteacher.




The protesters have paralysed traffic along the busy Sotik–Kisii road, bringing transport operations to a standstill as they call for the decision to be reconsidered. The parents and students say the transfer has disrupted learning activities and are demanding that the relevant authorities review the decision in the interest of the school and its learners.
