Parents in Lamu East Sub County in Lamu County have been urged to monitor closely how their school children are learning.
Lamu East sub county Director of Education David Kambi said many parents in the area do not know how their children are progressing in their studies.
He said it is important for parents to know how their children are performing in schools.
Kambi pointed out that by monitoring school children would enable them to know exactly how they are progressing in their learning.
He asked parents to help teachers in instilling discipline in their school children.
