The fire, which razed down a dormitory last midnight, has been termed by many as one of the most tragic incidents in Kenyan schools with majority of the people now calling for increased security measures in schools.

The dorm reportedly housed 156 boys drawn from Grade 4 to 8.

As at the time of publication, the cause of the fire is still unknown and investigations have gained momentum.
