More than 300 Form One students in Mariakani location in Kaloleni Sub County in Kilifi County have return to secondary schools.
This was made possible through an operation by the provincial administration to return children to school.
Mariakani location Senior Chief Joyce Kombe said that the target of the crackdown was to take 100 Form One students to each of the three new secondary schools in the location.
She said the three new secondary schools in the location which received 100 students each are Mwareni Mixed Day secondary school, Migundini Mixed Day secondary school and Shangia Mixed Day secondary school.
The senior chief warned that parents who will refuse to take their school age children to school will be arrested and charged.
