Over 15 principals join celebrations of KCSE results at Nyabururu Girls

Some of the top students of Nyabururu Girls who were feted during the celebrations. Over 15 principals attended the celebrations.

More than 15 principals from Kisii and Nyamira counties recently joined their colleague Chief Principal Joyce Orioki of Nyabururu to celebrate the school’s good performance in 2023 KCSE.

Notable among them were Nyambaria and Riokindo heads Charles Onyari and Ezekiel Okeyo respectively, as well as Gerald Orina of Cardinal Otunga Mosocho.

“We have come here in solidarity with our colleague and resolved as a team to maintain our sterling performance in national examinations because unity is strength,” said Onyari.

The principals revealed that they had agreed to expose their students to a variety of joint examinations to enable them gain courage as they prepare to sit form four examinations this year.

Nyabururu Girls Chief Principal Joyce Orioki, who doubles up as Kisii KESSHA chairperson, revealed that the school sent 622 students to university out of the 702 who sat the 2023 KCSE.

During the colourful ceremony that was attended by various motivational speakers and other community leaders, successful students were awarded with brief cases, laptops, mobile phones and blankets.

They promised to carry the flag of Nyabururu Girls high as they join university, pledging to return to the institution more often to give back after successful completion of their higher education.
