Geoffrey Nyantika has been elected as the Nyanza region Secondary Schools Sports Association new Secretary, taking over from Thomas Odhiambo, who was recently elected as the Kenya Union of Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) Homa Bay branch Executive Secretary.
Nyantika previously served as the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) Secretary for the Kisii branch.
His appointment comes after years of dedication and expertise in sports management. His experience in the Kisii branch has likely prepared him well for this regional role, where he’ll oversee sports development and competitions across Nyanza.
As Secretary, he will be responsible for managing sports activities, coordinating with teachers and students, maintaining records, organizing events, and promoting sportsmanship.
