The School of Education at the University of Eldoret has directed all education students due for Teaching Practice in May 2027 to submit their placement details, in an internal memo.
The memo, written by Teaching Practice Coordinator Dr Naomi Kutto, applies to students in the SEDU/24 and SEDU/25 cohorts, and those in the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE), PGD-TVET, SCE and AEE programmes.

Eligible students must submit their preferred teaching locations through a Google Form by Friday, October 30, 2026. Zone coordinators will begin processing and assigning placements on Monday, November 2, 2026.

University officials said timely data collection will let zone coordinators plan efficiently and match students to their preferred secondary schools and vocational institutions. Students have been advised to give the exercise priority to avoid delays in their teaching practice assessments.
