Families today move more, travel more and expect more from their children's schooling. For many of them, a fixed timetable in a single building no longer fits. Smartious Homeschool & eSchool was built for these families.
Smartious was founded in Nairobi in 2018. It combines live online teaching with physical learning centres at Diamond Plaza Parklands and Karen Hardy, and today it serves students in more than 40 countries, from the early years through to university entrance.
A Learning Plan Built Around Each Student(Education News Kenya — https://educationnews.co.ke/news/smartious-homeschool-eschool-a-world-class-education-wherever-your-family-lives)
Most schools ask every child to move at the same pace. Smartious works the other way: each learner gets a plan shaped around their strengths, goals and circumstances.
Students can learn fully online, attend a Nairobi learning centre or receive home tuition. Whichever format they choose, they are taught by degree-qualified subject specialists. Strong students can move ahead quickly, and those who need more support get focused, one-to-one attention.Three ways to learn, one plan for each student
Six Pathways Under One Roof
Families choose a school with a destination in mind, whether that is a British university, an American college or a place in the Kenyan system. Smartious offers accredited pathways for each.
The difference between remote tutoring and a true online school is infrastructure. Smartious teaches on its own learning management system, built in-house.
•Live, interactive classes. Students take part in real-time discussion, debate and problem-solving.
•Recorded lessons. Every live session is recorded, so students can revisit difficult topics, such as IGCSE Mathematics and Physics problems, at their own pace.
•Progress tracking for parents. Clear reports and regular updates keep families informed of how their child is doing.

Outside lessons, students join coding clubs, Model United Nations, AI workshops, debate leagues and arts activities alongside peers from around the world.
What Families Say
Smartious families live across East Africa, the Middle East, the UK and North America.
Looking Ahead
Digital skills now matter for both university and work. Schools that pair real community with online teaching are increasingly the model families look for. Smartious shows that where a child lives should not limit how well they learn.
