Goseta Boys High School is set for a new chapter of academic and sporting excellence following the appointment of experienced educationist Nicodemus Ogeto as its new principal.
Ogeto joins the institution from St Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School, where he has built a strong reputation for delivering outstanding results in both academics and co-curricular activities.
His leadership is expected to bring renewed momentum and stability to Goseta Boys, with stakeholders expressing confidence in his proven track record.
Before his tenure at Kibabii, Ogeto served as principal at St Joseph’s Nyabigena Secondary School, where he also demonstrated strong administrative and academic leadership.

His career has been marked by consistent institutional growth, improved performance and enhanced student achievement.
During his time at Kibabii, the school recorded remarkable success in sports, including four appearances at the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association Western Region games.
The institution also secured three football championship titles in Bungoma County, alongside strong performances in other sporting disciplines.
Academically, Mr. Ogeto’s leadership delivered impressive results, with the school attaining a mean score of 8.9 in the 2023 national examinations — one of the institution’s highest performances in recent years.
His focus on discipline, strategic management, and holistic education has been widely credited for these achievements.
Education stakeholders and the Goseta Boys community have welcomed his appointment, expressing optimism that his experience will strengthen both academic standards and co-curricular development at the school.
