Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha has assured education stakeholders that there will be no changes whatsoever in the academic calendar.
Prof Magoha who was speaking after opening Competency Based Curriculum (CBC) classes at Muhuri Muchiri Secondary School in Njiru said that the national examinations will be done on already set dates since most schools had already completed the syllabus.
While reiterating that the government was keen to ensure the remaining terms shall not be extended, the CS said schools will not be closed in case of repeat of presidential elections and the second term is still expected to end on 16th September, 2022.
