Musingu High School will tomorrow, Friday, September 19, 2025, host a colorful ceremony to officially receive its newly acquired school bus, in an event expected to draw students, staff, parents, and distinguished guests.
The program, coordinated under the leadership of the Chief Principal, Benard Lukuya, will begin at 9:00 a.m. when the decoration team, together with selected students, departs for Golf Hotel to prepare the bus for its grand entry.
Between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m., members of the Board of Management (B.O.M), the Parents’ Association (P.A), and church representatives will arrive at the school. This will be followed by a student assembly at the football pitch at 10:30 a.m.
The highlight of the day will be the arrival of the new bus at 11:00 a.m., a moment anticipated with excitement across the school community. The program will also feature entertainment, a Bible reflection, and a special dedication prayer for the bus.

Several brief speeches will be delivered by the Deputy Principals, Chief Principal Benard Lukuya, the Parents’ Association Chairperson, the Board of Management Chairman, and the Chief Guest, Regional Director of Education (Western) Obiero Jared.
The event will conclude with a luncheon from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., after which guests will depart. Normal school activities are expected to resume at 2:00 p.m.
The acquisition of the new school bus is seen as a significant boost to Musingu High School’s transport system, easing logistics for academic tours, sporting activities, and other co-curricular engagements.
