Kitui Central MP Dr. Benson Makali Mulu has thanked the parents and teachers of the Muslim Primary School in Kitui Town for running the institution well.

Speaking during the official opening of a storey building at the institution, the legislator stressed that the institution can do better if properly managed.

He revealed that the storey building was funded by the area Constituency Development Fund (CDF) at a cost of Shs 6.9 million.

He went on to reveal that he has about 40 school projects that he will launch all over the constituency. He had launched classrooms and hostels at Ngiini Primary School and Kitui School for the Mentally Handicapped.

The legislator urged his constituents to conduct peaceful political campaigns and elections and to vote for leaders who will bring development to them.

He also asked them to retain him as their MP saying he still has projects to complete

Muslim Primary School was established by Kenya’s colonial government in the 1950s and is one of the oldest learning institutions in the country.
