A shock and sombre mood on Wednesday March 25 struck Moi University after a female law student was found dead in a suspected suicide mission.
According to the police reports, the body of Reginah Wanjiku, 20, a second-year law student, was found on hanging on the door grill of her rented house in Annex Shopping centre, Sugunanga area.
It is reported that her mother had called her in vain, forcing her to call her friends asking them to check on her.

Police said the deceased used a leso to hang herself and left a suicide note that said she loved all and she was sorry for her decision.
The motive of the incident has not been established as her body now lies at mortuary waiting for postmortem.
