A middle-aged man is currently on the run, after allegedly sodomizing his five-year-old son.
The mother, identified as Ocharo, had been hospitalized for a week, leaving her children in the care of her husband at their Masimba Ward residence in Nyaribari Masaba Constituency.
Disturbingly, it was only on Thursday that neighbors summoned Ocharo to witness the horrifying revelation concerning her PP1 child.
During her absence, the father purportedly assaulted the child, prompting concerned neighbors to notice the child’s difficulty in walking the next morning.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the father had perpetrated the assault overnight.
The child, initially fearful, eventually disclosed the truth after encouragement from his aunt, Gladys Kemuma.
The villagers promptly took the abused child to Masimba Hospital for treatment, while the father remains in hiding.
The community implores the police to swiftly conduct an investigation and apprehend the suspect for legal consequences.
