Makueni Boys High School is in mourning following the death of Pst. Jackson Munyao Ndetei, the Head of Geography Department, who passed away on Tuesday, 30th September 2025, at Nairobi West Hospital.
He was a dedicated teacher known for his commitment to student success and mentorship.
Ndetei served the school with distinction, inspiring learners in the classroom and supporting colleagues with his passion for education.
His leadership in the Geography department helped strengthen academic standards and nurture a culture of excellence.
Beyond the classroom, he was a devoted family man, leaving behind his wife, Ruth Nzasi, and their three children.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday, 8th October 2025, at his home in Itaa Village, Makueni Sub-county, with students, staff, and the community expected to attend to honor his legacy.
