Leaders, Education stakeholder have appealed to law enforcement agencies and members of the public to help locate Simon Isiaho Shange, the Principal of Munyuki High School in Lugari, who has been missing since Monday.
Shange reportedly went missing after he was allegedly involved in a road accident along the Eldoret–Malaba highway. The circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, sparking concern among family, colleagues, and the local community.
The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communications, Philip Etale, urged the police and other relevant agencies to expedite investigations and establish the truth behind the teacher’s disappearance, terming the incident “a worrying mystery.”

The missing principal’s family, friends, and fellow educators have expressed growing anxiety as the search continues, calling for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
Local leaders and residents have joined in the appeal, urging authorities to intensify the search and ensure a thorough investigation into the circumstances that led to his disappearance.
As of Thursday, there had been no official statement from the police regarding the alleged accident or Shange’s current whereabouts.
Anyone with information that could assist in tracing the missing educator is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact relevant authorities immediately.
