Preparations are underway for a special Thanksgiving Ceremony in honour of Vivaline Chepkoech, the First Assistant Secretary Gender of the KUPPET Bomet Branch, scheduled to take place on April 25, 2026 at Kimori Primary School in Mogogosiek Ward, Konoin Sub-county, starting at 10:00 a.m.

The event, themed “Giving Thanks: Leadership, Service and Blessings,” will bring together teachers, education stakeholders, local leaders, friends and members of the community to celebrate Chepkoech’s leadership journey, service to teachers, and dedication to gender advocacy within the union.

According to the organizing committee, the ceremony will feature thanksgiving prayers, inspirational speeches, celebrations, fellowship and entertainment aimed at appreciating God’s faithfulness and recognizing the impact of servant leadership in the education sector.

Vivaline Chepkoech, who has been serving in the KUPPET Bomet Branch leadership structure, is expected to be the guest of honour as colleagues and supporters express gratitude for her commitment to strengthening gender inclusion, teacher welfare, and co-curricular engagement in the region.
