The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has requested those who applied for Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) courses to revise their selections.
KUCCPS made an announcement on its official website on X (formerly known as Twitter) informing applicants who have not yet secured a course that they can now choose alternative KMTC courses by logging into the portal at https://students.kuccps.net. The deadline for revision is July 12, 2024.
To check your application status, visit the KUCCPS’ student portal then log in with your credentials and select “KMTC Programmes” to view the available courses and their minimum requirements. Find the programme you applied for, and you will see whether it is marked as “Placed” or “Not Placed”.

Earlier this year, KUCCPS opened the portal for KMTC September 2024 intake applications from qualified KCSE holders from 2014 to 2023. The application deadline was June 21, 2024.
The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) is a state corporation established by Section 3 of the Kenya Medical Training College Act (Cap 261 of the laws of Kenya) operating under the Ministry of Health, KMTC is pivotal in the health sector.
It has numerous campuses throughout Kenya, making education and training for aspiring healthcare professionals accessible. The college offers diploma and certificate courses in various fields including nursing, clinical medicine, pharmacy, medical laboratory sciences and community health.
Additionally, KMTC engages in research and consultancy services related to healthcare, enhancing healthcare delivery and addressing health challenges.
