Dr Agnes Mercy Wahome, KUCCPS CEO. The agency's portal has been opened again for those who have never applied through it.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has re-opened its portal for applications for unfilled programmes in universities, TVET institutions and Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC).

This targets the previous applicants who have not yet secured a course or those yet to submit their course selections.

The applicants who have already secured a course need not to log in, but are rather advised to wait for the release of placement results after all the applications are processed.

Applicants should visit the KUCCPS website before the deadline on April 25, 2024.

The portal was closed on April 4 for the first revision of courses, which was opened on March 19 for applicants who were never entered for any course in university, TVET, Teacher Training College (TTC) or KMTC.

This revision of courses targets applicants who have not secured any of their choices submitted in February/March 2024, 2023 KCSE candidates with C+ and above and never applied for degree programmes, and also Form Four leavers with any KCSE mean grade from 2000 to 2023 who have never enrolled to tertiary institutions through KUCCPs.

The whole course application activities first took place from February 22 to March 4, 2024.
