KUCCPS opens application portal for placement of TVET students

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has opened the application portal for placement in public TVET institutions for the September 2024 intake.

The application is intended for individuals who took the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination between the years 2000 and 2023.

According to KUCCPS, the minimum requirement for enrolling in a diploma program is a mean grade of C-. For a craft certificate, the minimum requirement is a mean grade of D, and for an artisan certificate, the minimum requirement is a mean grade of E.

Interested applicants are to log in to their KUCCPS student’s portal students.kuccps.net and input their KCSE index number, the year they sat for KCSE and their index number.

After logging in, they should select ‘Programmes’ to see the available courses and their minimum requirements. Upon choosing their desired courses, they will need to enter the programme code. To complete the application, they should click on the ‘Application/Revision’ tab.

Once the application is completed, click “Submit.” You will then be prompted to pay KSh1,500, and the portal will show the payment instructions. After making the payment, enter the Payment Reference Number in the designated field and submit. The application will then be listed as “Active Application” on the dashboard.
