Kolanya Girls, Kolanya Boys among top schools in 2024 KCSE in Busia

Two secondary schools, Kolanya Girls and Kolanya Boys in Teso North Sub-county, Busia County have topped the 2024 KCSE Rankings of 8.04 and 8.01 in the county, leading the way for other 59 other schools in the area.

St Anthony Busijo Secondary School in Funyula performed dismally scoring an overall mean score of 3.09 only, eliciting mixed reactions.

According to the provisional KCSE results, the school that had registered 80 candidates for the exam, had only 1 C plain, 5 C minus, 20 D plus, 33 Dplain,17 D minus, 3 Es among others.

There was not even a single university entry.
