The Kenya National Union of Teachers, KNUT has joined the family of Mbooni Knut branch Executive Secretary Kioko Kiamba Muia, who died on Friday, October 17 after a short illness in mourning.
“We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Brother Kioko Kiamba Muta, Executive Secretary, KNUT Mbooni Branch which occurred last evening, Friday 17th October, 2025 after being ill for some time.” Union said
In a circular released on October 18 and signed by the KNUT Secretary General Collins Oyuu, the union has called on all members to stand in solidarity with family as the burial date to be communicated later.
“Kindly let us stand in solidarity with the family of our Brother Kiamba and the entire teaching fraternity of KNUT Mbooni Branch during these difficult moments.” Reads the circular
