Kisiwa National Polytechnic in Bungoma County has cancelled its Graduation Ceremony slated for tomorrow Friday October 17, 2025.
According to the Kisiwa National Polytechnic Chief Principal Emanuel Wamalwa, the decision was arrived at due to the demise of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Wednesday October 15, while receiving treatment in India.
Principal Wamalwa noted that the institution was set to officiate the graduation ceremony of 2457 graduands, on Friday, an event which was to be officiated by President William Ruto as the Chief Guest.
He urged students to remain calm as a new graduation date set to be communicated later.
The Former Prime Minister and ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga is set to be buried at his Opoda Farm in Bondo ,Siaya County this Sunday on October 19,2025.
