Kisii University announces vacancies for part-time teaching jobs

Kisii University has announced job vacancies for part- time lecturers in different faculties offered in the institution.

In an announcement made by the university and seen by Education News the part-time lectures will fill positions in nine faculties

“The University invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to take up part time teaching positions in the following fields; Arts and Social Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Information Technology, Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Medical and related fields,” the announcement reads in part.

The interested persons should have the following to be considered; Doctorate degree or a Master’s degree in the relevant area of specialization from a recognized university. All applicants’ qualifications (degrees) must be in the same field.

Applicants must have at least two years teaching experience in a university with a work experience in industry being an added advantage.

Interested applicants should provide the following information when applying for the posts; Area of specialization, academic qualifications, work experience and current work place which they should submit together with detailed Curriculum Vitae, a copy of Identification Card/Passport, certified copies of academic certificates, testimonials, letters of appointment as lecturers and other relevant supporting documents.

Applicants with foreign qualifications will be required to attach verification certificates from Commission for University Education (CUE).

The institution asked those interested to submit their manual (hard copy) application at the school on or before June 25, 2024 not later than 5pm.

The lecturers who have been teaching on part time basis at the institution are advised to also apply.
