Kisii higher education students want Machogu to replace Kindiki as Interior CS

Former CS for Education Ezekiel Machogu has been fronted by university and TVET students from Kisii to take over the Interior ministry from Prof Kithure Kindiki, who is now Deputy President nominee.

Higher education students from Kisii region have asked President William Ruto to appoint former CS Ezekiel Machogu into the Interior docket after incumbent Prof Kithure Kindiki was nominated for Deputy President position.

In their plea, students of Kisii University, Kisii National Polytechnic and Keroka Technical Institute, led by Cyrus Nyagaka, Callen Nyaboke and Joseph Michira, said they had no problem with Professor Kindiki’s appointment but felt obliged to request Ruto to reappoint Ezekiel Machogu into Cabinet.

“Ezekiel Machogu has a long track record of administrative experience in governance,” said Michira.
