Kipsigis Girls High School in Kericho County has announced a temporary closure following the recent surge in student unrest reported across the country.
The school has released students for a short break today, Saturday, June 6, and instructed them to return on Thursday, June 11, at 8:00 a.m. to continue with their studies.
The administration also urged parents and guardians to ensure that all students report back with cleared fee balances.
Kipsigis Girls High School is the latest school to close operations indefinitely in the face of student unrest and school arsons that has swept across the nation.
