Kimilili Member of Parliament Didmus Barasa has graduated with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Public Administration from Murang’a University of Technology.
Barasa was awarded the doctoral degree after successfully completing his fieldwork and defending his thesis, titled “County Governments’ Branding Strategies and Service Delivery Satisfaction among Small and Medium Enterprises: A Case of Bungoma County, Kenya.”
The study examined county government branding strategies and their relationship with service delivery satisfaction among small and medium enterprises in Bungoma County.
Academic milestone
The lawmaker shared news of his academic achievement on Friday, marking another milestone in his education journey while serving as the elected representative of Kimilili Constituency.
His graduation adds to his academic credentials and comes as he continues to balance his responsibilities as a legislator with his pursuit of higher education.
Barasa’s achievement has attracted attention among his supporters and members of the public, with many congratulating him for completing the demanding doctoral programme.
The graduation also highlights the growing trend of Kenyan political leaders pursuing advanced academic qualifications alongside their careers in public service.
