The Kenya Women Teachers Association (KEWOTA) has strongly dismissed allegations linking its leadership to what has been described as a “Teachers Payroll Heist,” terming the claims malicious and defamatory.

In an official communication released by its National Secretariat, the association defended its integrity and leadership, accusing unnamed individuals and groupings of orchestrating targeted attacks aimed at tarnishing its reputation.

KEWOTA specifically refuted allegations reportedly circulated by a blogger named Mr. Amunga and his associates, insisting that the claims are false and intended to undermine the organization’s credibility.
