The Kenya Primary School Headteachers Association (KEPSHA) National Chairman, Fuad Ali, has been appointed a member of the Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD) Governing Council.
This appointment was made by the Education Cabinet Secretary Julius Ogamba Migos through the Friday, March 28, 2025, Gazette Notice, which came a few days after being confirmed by the Association’s National Governing Council (NGC) members yesterday during their meeting and sworn in officially as the National Chairman, taking over from the late Johnson Nzioka.
Fuad will hold this position for three years, effective March 28, 2025.
Other appointments that the CS made in the same gazette notice include Dr Peter Maangi Mitiambo as the Chairperson of the selection panel for recruiting the Board of the National Commission for Science Technology and Innovation (NACOSTI).

According to Migos, the panel, which is constituted effective March 28, 2025, will be dissolved after the appointment of board members.
Other members appointed to the selection panel are Gilbert Nyandiga, Linda Murila, Edward Wamwenya, Wairimu Njage, Prof. Dickson Andala, and Prof. Daniel Mugendi.
Additionally, Ogamba appointed Dr. Halima Saado Abdillahi and Simon G. Njoroge as members of the Placement Board of the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) for three years, effective March 28, 2025.
