Some 60 athletes were picked for World School Cross Country Championships during national trials that were held on March 27 at Nakuru High in Nakuru.
Students from around the country converged for the selection process to represent Kenya at the global competition.
The competition will take place in Kenya in May this year.

As expected, Rift Valley region swept top accolades in all the categories including Under-12, U-15 and U-18.
Below are the athletes that were selected and will soon enter residential camp to start preparations ahead of the championships, which has attracted 23 countries.
