The highly anticipated Kenya Association of Technical Training Institutions (KATTI) National Championships are set to kick off at the Kenya Coast National Polytechnic in Mombasa from tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, to Sunday, November 1, 2025.
The event will bring together top-performing teams from technical and vocational institutions across the country to compete in various ball games, including volleyball and handball for both men and women.
This year’s competition promises intense action, teamwork, and display of raw talent as students aim to bring glory to their institutions.
In the women’s volleyball category, Pool A features Nairobi NP, Samburu TVC, Dr Wako Murende TVC, Sikri TTI, and Konoin TTI. Pool B includes Keroka TTI, Nyeri NP, Thika TTI, Katine TTI, and Chuka TVC. Pool C and D will also see exciting matches with teams like Michuki NP, RVTTI, Mwala TVC, and Eldoret NP in contention.

In the handball men’s category, Pool A will see a clash among Rarieda TVC, Kenya Coast NP, Mathiti TTI, Jeremiah Nyaga NP, and Aldai TTI, while Murang’a TTI, Masinga TVC, Meru NP, Kitale NP, and Taita Taveta NP headline Pool B.
The World also promises exciting encounters, with Pool A featuring Bondo TTI, Nkabune TTI, Katine TTI, Taita Taveta NP, and Michuki NP.
The championship will not only showcase sporting excellence but also promote unity, discipline, and networking among trainees in technical institutions.
As teams converge in Mombasa, the event is expected to foster a spirit of sportsmanship and provide a platform for young athletes to shine on the national stage.
All eyes now turn to the coast, where champions will be made and new records set.
