Kasneb opens registration for 2026 exams, sets October 30 registration deadline

  • Kasneb has announced that its December 2026 examinations will run from November 30 to December 3, 2026, covering CPA, CS, CIFA, ATD and other qualifications.
  • Kasneb has set October 30, 2026, as the deadline for exam registration and entry, with no provision for late submissions.
  • Kasneb has directed candidates to access qualification brochures via its website, Huduma Centres and Kenya National Library Service branches, and to pay fees through its online student portal.

The Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (Kasneb) has notified students, parents, sponsors, training institutions and other stakeholders about arrangements for its December 2026 examinations. The exams will run over four days, from November 30 to December 3, 2026.

Most Kasneb examinations will be held within this window, including the Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD), Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA), Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA), and the Diploma in Quality Management (DQM). Also sitting in this period are the Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA), and Certified Credit Professionals (CCP) programmes.

Candidates pursuing the Certified Information Systems Security Expert (CISSE), Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE) and Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM) qualifications will likewise sit their papers during this period, alongside vocational certificate courses: VCEI, VCGD, VCICS and VCBCT.

Candidates registered for the Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ) will sit their papers on December 1 and December 3.

Kasneb has urged candidates to plan, including securing permission from employers well in advance to avoid last-minute scheduling conflicts. Students hoping to sit the December 2026 examinations must register and submit their exam entries by October 30, with Kasneb indicating no provision for late entries beyond this date.

Prospective and continuing candidates can download the qualifications brochure free of charge from the Kasneb website, www.kasneb.or.ke. Printed copies are also available at Kasneb’s offices in Nairobi’s GPO area, as well as its counters at Huduma Centres in Kisumu, Kisii, Eldoret, Nyeri, Mombasa, Nakuru, Kitale, Kakamega, Meru and Thika. Branches of the Kenya National Library Service countrywide also stock the brochure, as do training institutions offering KASNEB courses.

Students within Kenya are encouraged to pay their fees through the student portal at  https://online.kasneb.or.ke, where a detailed payment guide is available to walk candidates through the process step by step.
