The Tetu MP also took the opportunity to highlight his plans towards the education sector, saying that he will ensure all public institutions are given an infrastructural face lift, beginning with Kagumo TTC where all pavements will be tarmacked.
On Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) the Guest of Honor promised to establish and equip 20 more JSSs with libraries, laboratories and dining halls.
He also condemned the menace of illicit brew; asking the public administrators present to ensure that the vice is eradicated in order to ensure that the education of children is not interfered with.
The Kagumo area Member of County Assembly congratulated the Principal and subordinate staff for giving the graduands an enabling environment for them to carry out their studies.
The colourful event was graced by, among other guests; area leaders from Nyeri County, the Deputy County Commissioner, representatives from TSC, Ministry of Education officials and Mr. Josphat Kagame, who was representing the Vice Chancellor of Karatina University.
The ceremony that was full of pomp and colour had entertainers crack the guests’ ribs with Kikuyu skits and solo versus. Others who entertained guests included the SDA choir and the school choir just before the main event kicked off.
