St John Tala High School community morale got a boost after its Principal Edward Kivuva was crowned the Principal of the Year Award winner, Eastern region.
The Principal who has seen the school performance in academics rise steadily competed with principals from eight counties and emerged top.
Kivuva had earlier won the contest at sub-county level where he represented Matungulu Sub-county.
He went on to represent Machakos County in the contest which was held in Mombasa during the teachers’ Annual General Meeting.
