Journalist stunned after stepping on Missing Girl’s body while covering her disappearance

In a shocking yet miraculous turn of events, a journalist in Brazil who was covering the disappearance of a 13 year old girl, who drowned while swimming in River Mearim in Northeastern Brazil, rattled in surprise after stepping on her body.

It is reported that the schoolgirl identified as Raissa, was last seen swimming in the river, when she suddenly disappeared, raising the alarm for her search.

The journalist identified as Lenildo, while reporting the disappearance, with a wireless microphone in hand, jumped into the water trying to get the depth of the water, and showing the exact place where the girl had been seen last, when the chilling incident happened.

As he was getting further, the depth of the water reached up to his chest. As he waded in the water, he suddenly jumped in shock and walked fast towards the shallow banks of the river.

Looking stunned he shouted to his camera crew, “I think there is something down here at the bottom of the river.”

“No, I am not going, I am scared.” He said clearly shaken “it felt like an arm, could it be her? But it might be a fish too, I don’t know.”

Following his unsettling reaction, firefighters who were at the scene conducting search and rescue resumed their search exactly at the position where the journalist had been in the water only to find the girl’s body at the exact spot the journalist had stumbled!
