Kenya Private Schools Association has called upon the Government through the Ministry of Education to harmonize the Form One selections.
Addressing Education News during Lake Region Private School meeting which was held in Kisumu, the national secretary of the association Charles Ochome said that in the recent Form One selections, he received complaints from some parents and students that they received calling letters from the schools which were not of their choice yet they performed well.
Ochome pointed out that as much as the selections panel tried their level best to give every student opportunity to join Form One, they should improve and look at the marks scored by an individual too.
“As much as the Form One selection was done in appropriate manner, we still received complaints from the parents and the ministry should take them seriously,” said Ochome.
