Gubernatorial aspirant denies claims he does not have academic certificates

Dagoreti North Member of Parliament and Kisi County Gubernatorial contestant, Simba Arati, has denied allegations that he is not learned.

He denounced some information circulating in the social media that depicted him a mere form four leaver.

Speaking recently while celebrating his nomination as the ODM  party flag bearer for Kisii Governor’s seat, Arati said that the information  about his lack of education was  being propagated  by his political opponents.

“The devil and his dark plans  were ashamed when I was nominated the ODM flag bearer for the Kisii County Gubernatorial seat,” he said.

The outspoken  politician declared that his education record was clear as he went to Nyamache Secondary School before proceeding to Suneka Secondary School in Kisii County from where he sat his KCSE examinations. 

He narrated how he worked hard in  Nairobi town selling vegetables that enabled him get money to fund his studies at Kenya Polytechnic, now called Technical University of Kenya.

After attaining a Diploma in tourism from the university, he proceeded to  China to study   Business management  and later on  joined Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University (JOOUST) for  a Master’s degree course.

He said that he is among the Master’s graduands graduating from   JOOUST today, April 22.

The legislator promised to give Early Childhood Development Education (ECDE) priority if he will be elected the Governor of Kisii County as he asked voters to choose leaders who had interest in the promotion of education because it is the backbone of development.
