The government is determined to ensure that it delivers a credible process in this year’s KCSE exams, Cooperatives Cabinet Secretary (CS) Simon Chelugui has said.

Speaking after overseeing distribution of KCSE exams at Moi Girls High School in Eldoret, the CS said no cases of exam malpractices will be tolerated.

He said those who engage in cheating are a disgrace to the country, lauding the collaboration between the education and interior ministries.

“I am happy the Ministry of Education ((MoE) is   working with the Interior Ministry. I want to assure you as a government we are committed to ensuring we deliver credible results,” he said.

The CS further wished all candidates the best in the examinations.

He had earlier opened exam container at Ainabkoi Sub-county.

Uasin Gishu Director of Education John Thringi noted that exams started as schedule and that no case of exam irregularity has been seen.
