The volleyball competition at the 2026 FEASSA Games enters a crucial stage today as teams battle for top positions in the girls’ and boys’ pools.
Kenyan teams have posted mixed results, with Kesogon Girls among the standout performers. Kesogon currently leads Pool A with three wins from three matches and will face unbeaten GS Indangaburezi in a highly anticipated clash today.
The encounter is expected to determine the Pool A winner, with both sides having maintained perfect records heading into the decisive fixture.
In Pool B, Mwitoti sits at the top of the standings, with Bukedea and Soweto closely behind as the teams fight for the leading positions.

In the boys’ competition, Uganda’s Bukedea and Tanzania’s Nyanza are tied on nine points at the top of Pool A. Namugongo leads Pool B after an impressive unbeaten run.

The boys’ fixtures will see Chesamis take on Lumala, and Nyanza face Bukedea at 10 am, before Chepsaita meet Kaliua and Namugongo face St. Jerome at noon.

In the girls’ competition, Seroma will play Lumala while GS Indangaburezi face Kesogon at 10 am. Mwitoti will meet Katikamu and Bukedea take on Mwanhuzi at noon, while Kajunjumele face Ecole Technique Eticolante at 2 pm.
