The Endebess Technical Training Institute (ETTI) 340-bed capacity students’ hostels construction has kicked off with the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) officers on the ground.
The area Member of Parliament Dr. Robert Pukose has prioritised the move to alleviate accommodation scarcity in the Training Institute which houses thousands of students keen to get varied skills.
The hostel shortages had prompted students to trek about two kilometres daily to the nearby Endebess town where limited rooms to let are found.

“This will alleviate the standards of learning environment for students and improve enrollment to the institution hence more technical skills and knowledge,” Pukose said.
Many technical learning institutions in the Country still grapple with hostel shortages amid the surge students enrolling for hand on skill every year. Even though the government has tried to maximize the resources, more hands are still needed to make students have a conducive learning environment.
