Concern is growing in Tambach, Elgeyo-Marakwet County, following the disappearance of a Grade 9 learner from Moi Tambach Junior School.
Faith Jepkurui was reported missing after she was last seen boarding a motorbike reportedly heading towards the Kabore area in Tambach.
At the time, Faith was wearing black sweatpants with white and black stripes, a black hoodie decorated with green stars, white socks and light-green slides.
Her disappearance has left her family and members of the local community worried, with efforts underway to establish her whereabouts and ensure her safe return.
Family appeals for information
The family is appealing to residents along the route to remain vigilant and share any information that could help trace the learner.
Anyone who may have seen Faith or noticed anything unusual involving a motorbike travelling towards Kabore around the time she disappeared is urged to come forward.
Members of the public with information about her whereabouts have been asked to contact her mother on 0790452773 or report to the nearest police station.

The family is also urging members of the public to avoid spreading unverified information and instead share credible leads with the relevant authorities to support efforts to locate Faith safely.
