The County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education and Technical Training in Elgeyo-Marakwet County, Purity Koima, has been appointed Regional Programme Coordinator for the Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INReMP) under the State Department for Agriculture.
Koima’s appointment marks a significant milestone in her public service career, with leaders and residents describing it as recognition of her commitment, discipline and exemplary leadership.
She will be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the Integrated Natural Resources Management Programme (INReMP), which focuses on sustainable management of natural resources, climate resilience, environmental conservation and improved agricultural productivity across the region.

Koima has served as the County Executive Committee Member (CECM) for Education and Technical Training in Elgeyo-Marakwet County, where she has overseen education and technical training programmes aimed at improving learning outcomes and expanding access to quality education.
