Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu has appointed former Olorropil Ward MCA Daudi Ole Muntet as the Chief Executive Officer of the Narok County Bursary Board.
The appointment places Mr Muntet at the centre of the county’s efforts to coordinate and oversee bursary support for needy and vulnerable learners across Narok.
Mr Muntet is a former elected MCA for Olorropil Ward, where he served before handing over the seat to the current MCA, Hon Matiya Murguyia.
His appointment has been welcomed by his supporters, who described him as a resilient and steadfast leader who has remained committed to public service through different seasons of leadership. The former ward representative brings to the position experience acquired during his tenure in the county assembly, where he represented the interests of residents and participated in deliberations on matters affecting the ward and the wider county.

As CEO of the Narok County Bursary Board, Mr Muntet is expected to oversee the board’s operations and coordinate the implementation of bursary programmes designed to assist students and pupils whose families face financial challenges in meeting education expenses. The position is considered important in ensuring that bursary funds are administered transparently and that deserving beneficiaries are identified through an efficient and accountable process.
His supporters said the appointment was recognition of his experience, dedication and continued service to the people of Narok County. They congratulated Mr Muntet on his new responsibility and urged him to serve with integrity, diligence and fairness. “Congratulations, brother, on this new responsibility. May you serve with integrity, diligence and commitment to the people of Narok County,” his supporters said.
The appointment adds to Mr Muntet’s public service record after his tenure as an elected representative of Olorropil Ward. He is expected to work closely with the county administration and other stakeholders in strengthening bursary support and ensuring that financial assistance reaches learners who need it most.
