Cabinet Secretary for Education Julius Ogamba has issued a stern warning to Secondary School Principals who still hold student’s Form Four certificates for failure to complete payment of school
He said that his office gave notice to Principals to release the certificates unconditionally and the notice has expired without the Principals complying.
“Ningependa kuwatahadharisha walimu wakuu waitikie huo mwito mara moja shule zikifunguliwa (I call upon head teachers to adhere to that order immediately the schools reopen.” he said.
The CS was speaking at Marani Catholic Parish where he joined other leaders led by Deputy President Kithure Kindiki raise money in aid of the Parish construction, termed the act unlawful.
Deputy President called for Unity in the country to enable the government work peacefully and distribute government projected equitably in the country.
He told off President Ruto’s critics saying his Kenya Kwanza government has accomplished alot of projects across the country within two years only and expressed optimism it will do more in the remaining years before 2026 national elections.

“We know we have fine some good things since you elected us but still there are others remaining that call for your patience as we plan to finish them,” he said.
The meeting was attended by other government dignitaries who included internal security CS Kipchumba Murkomen, Majority leader Kimani Ichungwa and Kuria MP Mathias Robi.
Some MPs from Gusii region who were present include Senator Richard Onyonka, Japhet Mokaya, Kitutu Chache North MP, Steve Mogaka, West Mugirango MP, Patrick Osero, North Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro South Mugirango and Kisii County Woman Representative, Donya Aburi.
Mathias Rioba underscored the importance of the Church because it gives spiritual nourishment and comfort to all people.
Robi said that the church plays a big role in the development of schools to supplement the government effort and promised to work with the church for that common journey of development.
