Bobasi Central Chief Jane Yobesh has appealed to parents to accompany and ensure that their children reach school early to start their studies without delay.

Yobesh lamented that some parents send their children to school without money and expect them to be sent back home in order to pay the required money.

She added that in the process of reaching school and coming back home, they indulge in bad company that lure them into unacceptable practices like drug abuse and indulgence in the premarital sex which lead to teenage pregnancies.

“Please parents accompany your children to school and reason with teachers instead of sending them there like sheep without shepherd.” She said.
